Valerie’s Taco Shop is a 24-hour gem and a must-try spot! Drive thru was a little slow but well worth the wait! I had the chicken quesadilla, and it was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. But beware: the sauces pack serious heat! The nacho cheese-colored one is fiery, and the green sauce, which I mistook for guacamole, lit my mouth on fire! I couldn’t finish my meal because of the spice level, but the taste was still amazing. I’m definitely coming back to try more, especially the fresh frescas I spotted on the menu. Great food, bold flavors, and open all day—Valerie’s is a spicy surprise worth checking out!

Service was great, friendly and fast! Food was good, the chips are awesome, salty and crispy and perfect! Al Pastor Taco meat was a little tough. But I'll be back, the MANY menu options are tempting. And agua frescas are delish!

Everything was so amazing everyone was so nice and welcoming and the food was perfection and u could really taste the flavors and love that was put in to the food I would have to give honestly 20 stars that’s great they did always out doing them selfs on everything

Had the surf and turf burrito and 5/5 very meaty and at a great price honestly won’t be surprised if they start skimping meat or raising the price for it cause that thing was pacced full of meat! Tacos were good too nice and fresh!

Valerie's opened where Taco Bueno used to be. Valerie's is so much better!! The service is excellent. Ivis took excellent care of us. He is bilingual and knowledgeable of every plate and any question you ask him regarding their menu or the restaurant. The restaurant was very clean and anything you needed was available. There's a salsa bat as well. Besides the regular sodas they have a variety of Aguas Frescas which are delicious!. I had the horchata, and they also had Piña (pineapple), Jamaica (hibiscus)and Melón (cantaloupe). I had the three tacos platter which was so good! I fid have to add dome salt and pepper. I think is because I don't fo salsa or spicy. If you do, no problem. Topped with fresh onions and cilantro. My husband enjoyed his very much. We will definitely be back to Valerie's!

I left San Diego over 20 years ago, Valerie’s taco shop is exactly like the tacos and burritos we used to get in San Diego. If you grow tired of the Tex-Mex and you wanna try some real Southern California Mexican food go to Valerie‘s taco shop. Restaurants clean the food is delicious. I am so pleased that I was able to find. Valerie‘s taco shop is becoming a staple in our menu rotation. Ivis was great, very friendly and listened to my order completely. Thanks again for all the delicious food you have.
